🐄 Guild Wars 2 Expansion Review

During a press event, MeinMMO editor Alexander Leitsch spent around 100 minutes looking at the new content.A lot of it looks really good for an inevitably small expansion.But unfortunately he is disappointed by the look of the areas.

All in all, it's a decent expansion. I'd give it a 3.5/5 and I'd bump that up to a 4 if they can move forward on some improvements and supplemental content within a reasonable timeframe. I am concerned that new strike missions and fractals will be slow to release and that these open world maps lack the replay value they need to cover a long gap
Please for anyone else reading this thread take heed of this information: When you buy the expansions on the official GW2 website the serial code is displayed on the purchase screen so you can unlock it immediately.

I guess if you completely ignore PvE the expansions suddenly are worth a lot less, since for pvp they really only offer a single elite specialization per expansion, which I guess means that the HoT+PoF bundle is better than just EoD since it offers 2 instead of 1 elite specializations for the same price.
