The ktm exc is an enduro race bike that happens to have a plate. Oil change intervals alone would make this an expensive commuter. Commuter bikes hold 3 quarts of oil for a reason. He said sure the Ktm can be used as a commuter, but you will be rebuilding motors and transmissions frequently.

Posted December 4, 2016. Yes, it's one of the oil filter cover threads that were stripped. I spoke with one of the KTM mechanics where I bought the bike and he was talking about just tapping to a larger bolt but, I have no experience with this so that's why I'm here. I'd like to keep the same bolt. Thanks for the replies.
